I'm a product designer and a parent, and Practical Parent Co is my small business on the Sunshine Coast.
Everything I make starts with something that bugged me, or a friend, while out with the kids. Hook n Go came from one too many walks where someone was pushing the pram with one hand and lugging a balance bike with the other, while also managing a snack, a bag and a toddler's mood. There had to be an easier way, so I made one.
I prototype everything myself and give early versions to other parents to try. Nothing goes on sale until it works for them too.
It's just me here. I design the products, pack the orders and answer every email, so if something isn't right you'll be talking to the person who can fix it.
