Ordering & shipping
Where do you ship from?
Every order is packed and posted from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Practical Parent Co is a one-person Australian business, so the person who designed what you ordered is the same one who packs it.
How much is shipping?
Australia: Standard shipping is free on orders of $40 and over, and $10 on anything smaller. Express is $10 on orders of $40 and over, and $15 on anything smaller. Express is quicker once it's in the post, but it still goes out on Monday with everything else.
International: Depends on the country and how much is in the parcel, and you'll see it at checkout before you pay. Any import duties or taxes are set by your country and paid by you, except in the USA, where we pay them before your order ships.
When will my order ship?
We pack orders over the weekend, and that's when you'll get your shipping email with your Australia Post tracking number. Orders go to Australia Post on Monday morning (occasionally Tuesday, after a public holiday). Australian delivery is usually 2–5 business days after that, depending on where you are.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, to New Zealand, the UK, every EU country, the USA and Canada. Orders go out on Monday with Australia Post tracking, and delivery times vary by country.
Hook n Go
Will Hook n Go fit my pram?
Hook n Go fits any pram or stroller with a round frame bar between 13 and 47 mm across (about ½" to 1⅞"). Measure the bar where you'd like the hooks to sit. If you're not sure, send us a photo before you order and we'll check.
Will it scratch or mark my pram?
No. Rubber pads inside the clamp grip the frame without marking it. Just don't over-tighten.
How quick is it to attach?
Under 10 seconds per hook, no tools. Unwind the thumb screw, position it on the bar, tighten.
What can it hold?
Balance bikes, scooters, trikes, helmets and bags. Anything that fits over the hook.
What if it doesn't fit my pram?
Send us a photo of your pram's frame and we'll help you work it out. If it still doesn't fit, send it back within 30 days for a refund. Trying it on your pram doesn't count as used. You pay the return postage, and there's no restocking fee.
PerchMount
Will PerchMount fit my portacot?
It fits portacot rails 13 to 47 mm thick. If you're not sure about yours, email us a photo of the rail and we'll check. If it doesn't fit, send it back within 30 days for a refund. You pay the return postage, and there's no restocking fee.
Does it fit the CuboAI Monitor 3 specifically?
Yes. The cradle is shaped for the CuboAI Smart Baby Monitor 3, so it sits snug. It won't fit other monitor models.
Do all the Cubo features work?
Mostly. Live video, night vision, two-way audio and cry detection all work as normal. Covered Face and Rollover alerts stay off. The Cubo only switches those on when it senses one of its own metal stands, and PerchMount is plastic.
Does it come with the monitor?
No. PerchMount is the mount only. You add your own CuboAI Smart Baby Monitor 3.
Can I use it in both bassinet and cot mode?
Yes. The mount elevates and offsets the camera so you get a full view of the mattress in both modes.
Any travel tips?
If you'll be using your Cubo on hotel WiFi, pack a travel router. The Cubo needs a secure, password-protected network to connect.
Returns & warranty
What's your return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to return something you don't want. It needs to be unused and in its original packaging, with your order number. Return postage is paid by you, and there's no restocking fee. Email hello@practicalparentco.com.au to start a return.
My item arrived damaged or faulty. What do I do?
Email us a photo and your order number as soon as you notice the problem, and we'll replace or refund it, including postage.
